In the Colchester area a number of schools have been working together to enable identified students the ability to succeed, enjoy and engage through a number of revolutionary and bespoke courses.

This website is set up to show good practice across Essex and beyond and a place to share resources and ideas. There are a number of case studies from different schools for you to read. We also have a parents and students section that you can use to promote your Foundation Learning courses during the options and pathways process.

No matter where you are in developing Foundation Learning this web site is designed to support you. All the schools in the Case Studies are very open for you to visit them or feel free to ring them if you just wish to talk through some ideas.

There are a number of training days designed to support schools throughout the year based at different schools in Essex. Please click here if you are interested.

This programme will run for 1 day a week throughout year 10. The programme is open to 75 students across Colchester
